Vietnam Vets Discuss:

Remember a High Fever? ... Headaches?  *

After Vietnam I lost all hair from my feet to my groan Area.  Is this normal being exposed to Agent Orange?

I still believe it caused my PLS because PLS is not hereditary. I had another EMG run on my left side yesterday, that's all the Neuro. wanted tested. All they would tell me is, the results were abnormal and my Neuro. would be getting in touch.

It could be an autoimmune issue

Loss of hair and PLS could both be autoimmune issues

Dioxin doesn't cause autoimmune issues,
but the other chemical 'in the mix' would

Do you also have the CFIDS symptoms (like Gulf war syndrome vets & civilians do?)

Do you have anemia?

How does our body 'complain' about too much of a chemical exposure?  *
Hi Margaret,

I don't have Diabetes, but do have Chronic Fatigue
My legs & hands shake but not all the time and sometime they shake so bad that pain sets in then i take 4mg of Klonipin and it helps me relax a little.

Frank

... not diabetes? how about too low a blood sugar?

What I suspect is that you would have had a spike in blood sugar when you had flu symptoms ... or continuous cold type congestion ... 'sniffles' diarrhea, etc

That would be the time you had 'fever'  and maybe elevated blood pressure if anyone checked

OVER time,

I would anticipate there would be a lower than normal range of blood sugar,

a subnormal body temp (less than 98.6)

and too low blood pressure

Variations in autoimmune hypothalamus issues that EGBE exposure would look like

There is a possibility of Parkinson's disease, also congestive heart failure.  Parkinson's has now been linked to Agent Orange.  Then again it depends what types of medications you are on.  For many years people with PTSD that had some tremors, were believed to be caused by medication.  Since this time a number of university studies and overseas studies have found a link between Parkinson's and Agent Orange.

That's what makes the chemical I suspect for Chronic Fatigue ... so hard to figure out,  It doesn't look the same ... but there is a pattern there.

Still, it would be autoimmune issues, and adding meds can be like adding more chemicals to those who need to avoid chemicals as much as possible.

I don't think the VA or the USA knows what they are dealing with

Or what to do for it either

Some thoughts for help:

& autoimmune issues ... NHL, cancers?

"One of the most important discoveries in health and disease of the last 10 years or so, may be that the production of the sugars that the body requires to form glycoproteins (cellular messenger molecules) is quite ATP intensive, ADP intensive, vitamin/mineral dependant, and enzyme dependant."

Would Nutrition for Cells help?

Do you have memory loss?

Do you have 'the pattern' of this chemical exposure?

Which is Chronic Fatigue Immune Dysfunction Syndrome

I think you should look carefully at the gulf war syndrome vets,

as the stand out harm for them is ALS

AND

Since they are no more harmed than the general population,

you are looking for a chemical exposure that is common in the civilian population

not just a war-time exposure

Point is there is a possibility of any autoimmune issue

Highest level must be ALS

Down from the Parkinson's

Down from that MS... etc

Depends on the level of exposure

ALSO, do AVOID this chemical, as more exposure can worsen your health issues

Of the categories of health damage to Vietnam Vets
(Would be the same for vets of other eras prior and since)

'the 2-butoxyethanol chemical could cause them all

even and most especially brain tumors & various cancers

The fatigue doctors do not find is the proof it is EGBE

To say 'Dioxin' is to put the wrong label on the recognized harm

Have you ever heard Ethylene Glycol monoBUTYL Ether as causing these all?

Or even be considered ?

That's because the USA hasn't figured it out yet

Nor have the President's Doctors

Nor have the doctors of the wealthy such as Aristotle Onassis

I suspect Aristotle Onassis was health damaged by THIS chemical, too; and as usual, it was not recognized by his doctors.

"I'm convinced that metabolic features (changes in cholesterol and lipid profile, changes in glucose uptake and cell use, mitochondrial diseases and so on) are among main underestimated issue of 2-BE," says a French journalist

Later Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis came down with Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

This cancer goes hand in hand with the AIHA or IMHA

ALL or AIHA + NHL

Another 'checklist'
Do you have the CFS, FM, CFIDS pattern of health issues of EGBE?

How to tell if 2-butoxyethanol chemicals have harmed you:

www.valdezlink.com/pages/thebasics.htm

On the other hand, if you have only one thing wrong,

and a parent didn't have 'the health assortment,'

don't suspect this chemical

Most Vietnam vets ... could have a parent who served in a war ... & a grandparent who served in a prior war, so they could have the teratogen effects this chemical would cause.

Don't forget there was a lot of manufacturing back in the WWII days, so even a mom could be health damaged from this chemical, too, which is in very widespread use from now back to the 1930s ... and how long have wars (with exploding things) been going on?

Why did I study this chemical?

I think the anemia of the immune system prematurely destroying the red blood cells may actually be the number one cause of death in our Nation ... with the secondary issues being just that ... second to the primary cause of harm ... the root issue that is being overlooked
