2-butoxyethanol
Should
2-butoxyethanol exposures someday ...
be on the list
of Presumptive Disability Compensation approval?
Diabetes - When?
Would be the cause of disabilities for Chronic
Fatigue Immune Dysfunction Syndrome of which the
fatigue is unknown by doctors. Per definition,
they are looking for the fatigue of CFIDS (CFS,
FM, ME for short).
This is the autoimmune metabolic causing
chemical, of which
diabetes
and even birth defects can be side effects.
THE FATIGUE is the proof of 2-butoxyethanol
overexposure. Per research it causes hemolytic
anemia. Must be autoimmune, however.
THE CFIDS Fatigue causing chemical - Harms
soldiers MOST - of EVERY era. Start looking for
what is the same ... even back to the WWII vets,
the Vietnam vets,
Korean Vets and most especially the 'gulf war
syndrome' vets and today's vets, as well.
The CFIDS fatigue MUST BE AIHA or IMHA
A cause of seizures can be lack of oxygen.
Do you have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome ... such as
CFIDS? (Whether diagnosed or not?)
This pattern,
if so
Often you will find leukemias as a side effect.
But for the rise in Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma ...
check to see if 'the FATIGUE' is there, too.
I find this post ... children of the Vietnam
vets of interest
... and relevant to this chemical's effects.

On the lists of presumptive approvals for
diabetes, type II ... it is approved for Korean
Vets ... but not for Vietnam vets (pretty long
list of ailments ... including autoimmune issues
put forth by Vietnam vets ... very few approved)
Korean vets are just those who may have had AO
exposure/s (from what I can tell)

What are
the PRESUMPTIVELY approved conditons for Vietnam
Vets?
Question is, what besides AO may have been 'in
the mix?'
Also, when did the diabetes show up?
I personally believe it is a side effect of
2-butoxyethanol exposure. It can show up later
in one's life (as many baby boomers including me
can attest to) as a late to show up birth defect
from a parent so poisoned. (My dad was a WWII
Navy man who saw 'action')
But if it is a sudden onset with very high Blood
Sugar,
look for flu symptoms
and what was going on right then.
I suspect autoimmune hypothalamus and that
changes in blood pressure and body temperature
AND BLOOD SUGAR
go along with it for those with DIRECT exposure.
You can still be exposed, very easily, to this
chemical today: ethylene glycol monobutyl ether
is the old name for 2-butoxyethanol. Look for
all the MSDS info you can find to get a picture
of what it does (as the USA says it's not
harmful).
Some info I shared with Barbara
Look for THE FATIGUE of CFIDS
Approval for disability should not be
limited to whether or not AO is in the mix
Suspect all autoimmune issues when 'the pattern'
of CFS,FM, CFIDS underlies the ailment.
Note the findings of UK research
... Suspect this chemical for tumors of all
kinds in all areas of the body
PS 2-butoxyethanol is listed on the solvents and
pesticides the gulf war troops were exposed to.
By some odd definition
it is a pesticide
AND as to sleep apnea, this is also seen
among the group of people exposed to this
chemical. I think it affects the opening and
closing of not only the breathing apparatus, but
also digestion and veins

I have noticed posts referencing kidney cancer
and other issues such as sarcoidosis, peripheral
neuropathy.
... from CATO2 (who has replied to my trackpads
posts with more MSDS info) ... he comments on
neuropathy & having MRIs ... changes in his
sense of balance, co-ordination ... a tingling
in fingers & toes -
(Consider CIDP the 'chornic version of what Pres
FDR had),
loss of focus & concentration
What you are describing may be part of a larger
picture of health harm.
In addition to sarcoiidosis & peripheral
neuropathy, I would ask a soldier whether or not
they have FATIGUE, memory loss, difficulty
concentrating, extreme irritability?
Mutliple cancers can be possible.
Kidney cancer is one that should be suspect for
'the other chemical in the AO spray ... it was
mixed with jet fuel so it would adhere to the
foliage, one soldier told me.
If it is the other chemical, you would have
other effects, not just one thing. It has
serious FATIGUE that doctors do not usually
find, but they would if they looked at the red
blood cells.
Do you have fatigue, memory loss, severe
irritability?
CFIDS whether diagnosed or not is the odd
assortment of symptoms from which many other
things pile on top. 2-butoxyethanol is the
autoimmune causing chemical.
Dave has allowed me to post my info on this
topic HERE under Veterans' Issues, Disability
compensation, but since I suspect 'the wrong
chemical, AO, is blamed for what 2-butoxyethanol
does, he doesn't want me to post on other
threads.
I do not wish to undermine any of his work.
However, many, many are not getting compensation
when it is due. I am not addressing singlular
health issues. I have no medical background;
however, my theory of what 2-butoxyethanol does
is provable.... and the research is already done
(only the USA chooses to ignore it)
Do you have this pattern, and the fatigue of
AIHA?
Research ... what the other chemical does:
After blood, primary organs targeted are kidneys
and liver and central nervous system, and skin
and connective tissues. Even autoimmune issues
like arthritis can 'pile on' as time goes on.
I have spent a lot of time looking into what
those with known and suspected exposures to
2-butoxyethanol would look like.
They should also
learn to avoid this chemical today,
as it is easy to be re-exposed today. The
picture is so large ... that many things it does
are not even considered as part of the harm.
I think this 'gulf war syndrome' vet shows the
pattern of harm quite well:
Donny Richardson
AND
if we knew what happened to the bioremediation
workers of EVOS
they would look like many soldiers of WWII,
Vietnam, Korea, 'gulf war syndrome vets' ...
today's soldiers .... and those in the civilian
population with CFIDS (CFS, FM, ME for short)
Thank you, Dave, for your work.
Thank you for this place to share the picture of
harm that I suspect from 2-butoxyethanol. I hope
it will be an approved cause of disability
compensation ... including the many birth
defects it causes (It is a teratogen, a poison,
a solvent, and a pesticide)
I hope those with THE FATIGUE & multiple, odd
health issues will ask their doctors more about
'the fatigue' ASK them to look at the red blood
cells & find out everything there is to know
about them, including whether or not there is an
