Pregnant?
Avoid all exposures to 2-butoxyethanol
Why I thought of this as something to be
careful of ...
as a possible cause of
hemangiomas
and other birth defects
|
Maybe the
source of exposure for the chemical
that I suspect for causing the
hemangiomas ... is not that hard to
figure out.
In some cases, a woman who is
pregnant may exposed to the chemical
in paint or in cleaning products,
WHILE SHE IS PREGNANT
dah ...

Yesterday I had to take an inside
photo of a house for a valuation I
was doing (refinance requirement) It
was owned by a bachelor who must
have done a quick clean just before
I arrived.
I was only in his house for 5
minutes at the most. As I left, I
had a start up of horrible diarrhea
as I was walking down the driveway
towards my car. It caused me to
immediately 'run for home' I had to
change all my clothes. I seldom have
this to deal with.
First I though it was something I
ate. Maybe the chicken or the yogurt
or the milk or the cookies I had
eaten earlier in the day was
spoiled, & had caused this? Then
last night I ate all the same things
again, (thinking what in the world
was wrong with me ....) but nothing
happened.
Ah ha! It had to be the cleaning
products he used. Whether air
freshener, lysol disinfectant spray,
carpet cleaner ... I don't know. But
the vapors in the room could have
gotten into my eyes. That would be
the most likely exposure to the very
chemical I've been learning about:
2-butoxyethanol or diethylene glycol
monobutyl ether
It has a lot
of other names and it is
in a lot of
cleaning
products
This fatigue &
it can affect pets, too
I wasn't sick to my stomach or
vomiting ... as happens with
flu-like
symptoms, but I had
instant diarrhea

|
I know this seems
unbelievable; however, I
remember a supervisor of
a crew that was
unloading bags of oil
spill discards off a
boat in 1989. He
described slimy stuff
all over the red bags,
and in 15 minutes he &
his whole crew went to
the clinic. He said he
had blood in urine just
that fast, and that
today he is having his
toes cut off from
'diabetes' issues and
worse. His health is
now rapidly declining,
and he's only about 40
years old. |

Yesterday I
was
also visiting with someone
about there being so many
brain
tumors now-a-days. *
It was in
the news about Johnnie Cochran
having died of one.
This
man's wife works at the humane
society with the police dept.
He said there have been
numerable instances of
feline
leukemia. They adopt
out a litter of kittens who end
up coming down with leukemia.
They take them to the vet, but
it doesn't do much good.
I shared
with him that
the
chemical I studied
that was used in the Exxon
Valdez oil spill cleanup causes
tumors of the brain and leukemia
in children of those who have
been strongly overexposed. So,
had the mama cat or the daddy
cat had too much exposure? Cats
roam around everywhere, maybe
they found a spill of the
chemical. OR maybe someone who
has been exposed to it, is
breathing it into the kitten's
eyes as they cuddle with it.
Not too
much exposure for an adult who
is getting it out of their
system ... but too much for a
little kitty?
Did you
know that
George W. Bush's little sister
died of leukemia before she was
3 years old? Was Bush
senior exposed to this type of
chemical during WWII? I don't
know, but it is possible. |

From
WHO
(via Toxins Awareness Group):
paint solvents are carcinogenic,
painters having a 40% higher chance
of lung cancer and 20%
higher of stomach, bladder, larynx,
etc cancers, while their children
are at increased risk of leukaemia
and brain
tumours. |
