Chad Pagel of Indiana is a gulf war vet who shared with me that he didn't sleep (Sleep is a function of the central nervous system)

I shared with him that I asked an EMT from the Exxon Valdez oil spill cleanup what his doctor prescribed for his sleeplessness.  He said it was for him like the 'magic bullet'  He used to barely get any sleep and now he can get 6-7 hours a night.  He said all the side effects are not known, and that he takes 1/4 of what the doctor said he could take:  'Remeron' or Mirtazapine

I don't know anything about it, but maybe it would be worth asking your doctor about.  It is supposed to help with depression ... but taken in small doses, it helps one sleep.  Then a gulf war vet doctor (now 52 years old & developed prostate cancer) shared more about it ... Mirtazapine
