Several years ago I was speaking with Moria Ureda.  She and her husband, Dan, still live in Valdez and one or the other or both of them work for Alyeska.

She told me that she worked on the Exxon Valdez oil spill in the office .... & dealt with the bioremediation workers as they came off shift ... before they went on

She was responsible for collecting the urine samples (They were looking for blood in urine, not for drugs)

I asked her how many bioremediation workers there were.  She said 1,000

That is a match for:

VECO INC - COLONIAL 08/16/89 with employee #, name, job # and crew, date hired, Soc#, address and ph#. 940 names.

VECO INC - OFFSHORE 09/04/89 with 2,867 names would have many, many affected,

however, the provable harm is to those with DIRECT exposure

A study needs to be done - Do these look like 'gulf war syndrome' vets?

How many are still alive in each group?
