| I would like to be able to give temporary
housing assistance to Art & his family (while I'm also
working up a listing/sales price for the house they do want to
buy, so that a closing can progress) They need a furnished rental in about 10 days. That's when school starts and the kids will be up here with mom. The house that would work so nicely is one that is for sale by owner, and they do not want to list with Sound Realty, because the former broker treated wife, Debbie, very badly & told her in front of others that as enlisted Coast Guard they couldn't afford anything more than a trailer. Even though there is a new owner/broker, Alice, she has been trained by Jeanette & will have many of the same business practices. The Coast Guard family is grown, but Debbie & husband both still work in Valdez. My friend/ seller/ Addy has a house she shares with others. & would probably rent part of to Debbie and her husband. That would leave the house they have in town near schools for the new family that has to be up here soon ... until house can be purchased & furniture arrives there. I think $90 per day including utilities for 3 weeks, then $60 per day plus utilities on Sept 10 and on. It would be nice if they could stay here until they move into their new house, but if not possible to stay on, our BnB house would work for them starting Sept 10 If I can go above and beyond what is asked of me, to help Art's family, they will be most pleased, and thankful, and surely so state to Alyeska & Prudential, and send others my way.
Then also as a thank you, I can do a market analysis BPO for Debbie's house, and list it reasonable & share with other offices ... make her a web page What do you think?
If more buyers keep coming my way from Prudential, as Prudential hopes will be the case, too, Maybe I will have a buyer for Debbie's house, and Art's family wouldn't mind allowing Debbie's house to be shown, either. And Addy needs to sell her house/ maybe Debbie & Art will like it (?) Not sure why Debbie and her husband are thinking of moving 80 miles away to build a house in another community. |
