I think Congress should ban 2-butoxyethanol or NOT allow this BUTYL to be added to cleaning products, gun cleaner, etc.
 
 Then maybe there would not have been illness such as CFIDS, CFS, FM assortment ... and there never would have been 'the syndrome' for Vietnam vets ... Korean Vets ... gulf war vets ... today's vets & those of WWII, WWI also

 Second hand solvent exposure to this chemical is the aspect of 'flu symptoms' that I am talking about. This holiday season I rented an apt for 10 days so a Vietnam vet could spend time with his high school son. He told me how sick he had been, as his daughter & grandkids where he had been staying before ... were very, very sick with the flu. Now his X-wife said she was so sick, she had to go to the doctor.
 
 In these instances, people should consider that this wicked chemical can be expelled in the respiration and then get into the eyes of others ... SECOND HAND solvent exposure to BUTYL

    Classically, in IMHA the stimulation of the bone marrow is so strong that even the white blood cells lines (which have very little to do with this disease but which also are born and incubate in the bone marrow along side the red blood cells) are stimulated. This leads to white blood cell counts that are spectacularly high.

One of our friends here, Dean, is a Grenada/Desert Storm vet and he for years has been fighting the system re: that they have poo pooed his symptoms and disabilities and said he had "fibro" and "chronic fatigue" which he just knew he didn't have.   It hasn't been until this year that the VA has finally started paying attention and finally are recognizing how incredibly seriously ill he is.  He has degenerative nerve disease from his exposures, and they are readily admitting it now.  Dean said they've found that some weren't affected that much (like my husband) and some moved into the disease.  
 
 My daughter was contacted by the VA, as are others, that are rated 20% or less and they have given her reps to be re evaluated and she's now probably going to be 60 to 70% rated.   She is chemical induced asthma from the jet fuels and was deemed "non sea worthy".    Maybe Bob Dole is kicking some butt.
