Why is there so much infertility these days? and especially amount our men?

I think it has to do with the jobs they do & the excessive exposure to glycol ether chemicals

Last year I met a man from New Jersey who was a Navy Seal in Vietnam.  He said in their gun cleaners there was a component that caused birth defects and women were not allowed to use it.  (Don't they think men have reproductive systems, too?)
This morning on Fox news Marc Siegel was interviewed.  He said that 40% of infertility was due to the man being infertile; and that 10-15% of couples these days are infertile.  They discussed hydrocarbons being a strong contributor.  I agree; however, the glycol ethers have a lot of similar components, and they cause autoimmune issues.  The autoimmune issue that targets the sperm is SPONTANEOUS INFERTILITY:

What about spontaneous infertility?

Are Fertility and reproductive concerns & Diabetes ... autoimmune issues?

What else is autoimmune?  *

Spontaneous Infertility Affects Sperm  - naturally occurring antisperm-antibodies (ASA) as a cause of male infertility; sperm autoimmunization  *

Insulin-resistant diabetes *

*

In diabetes mellitus, auto antibodies are formed against insulin receptors. Insulin receptor  * source    * I still contend

Jeff:  I was a Coast Guard beach monitor in the 1989-90 seasons.  After that I was Immediately sent to Saudi Arabia for a year in support of Desert Storm.  For ten years I have been to doctors with sometimes debilitating symptoms, and I do in fact have a "Undiagnosable" Infertility problem (zero sperm count, testosterone replacement therapy).

I have never connected the two, But I have never had answers. I have never had an answer on any of my medical problems.  I have gone to some of the best specialists and endocrinologists in Southern California, spent thousands of dollars, and I am simply "unable to father children". But none of them can say why.

The Sterility is my greatest concern. With no visible or diagnosable cause, I am 100% Sterile. All the testicular functions are intact, even the proper trace chemicals and hormones are present (except for exceptionally low testosterone). The doctors just scratch their heads when the tests show a zero sperm count. They say it's unheard of. Low counts are in the millions. I am zero.  Years and years of "i dunno's" from doctors have got me frustrated.

Partial Reply:  In looking thru the NJ Hazard info sheet (6 pdf pages) It states p.2

When did he recall a serious flu?

very sick ?

People know when an acute exposure to 2-butoxyethanol occurs ...

It looks like the flu & that is the exposure that causes THE FATIGUE, etc

For this US Coast Guardsman who has been unable to father a child
after Monitoring the 'biorememdiation experiment,' I asked,

"Do  you think you might be dealing with spontaneous infertility,
and that if you took glyconutrients for 3 months ...
& then tried to have a baby, you would have a healthy child?"

Share this with your doctor - for Doctors - look into glyconutrients for help

In 1996 the New Yorker, the NY Times, USA Today and Mother Jones ran articles on the decline of sperm and the quality of sperm in our nation over the past 50+ years. At the rate we are going, by the next 50 years our men will have zero sperm. (Happened to a Coast Guard monitor of the 1989 'Bioremediation' experiment) AND this chemical is said to damage the testes in particular (Strange coincidence?)

Actually it is the family of Glycol Ethers we are talking about.
