I am 23 years old, female, and there is something terribly wrong with my hands. My father passed away on April 11th and since then, the skin on my hands has been peeling off. I went to the pharmacy and the pharmacist suggested I use Eucerin hand cream and cortisone cream. However, there has been no improvement. I was wondering if you thought that the peeling could be a stress reaction to my fathers passing if so, is there nothing I can do physically until mentally I am in a better place? The peeling is adding to the stress and the stress could be the root of the peeling. If not, what can I do to stop the peeling. I also have small red spots on the knuckles of my left hand but, they are not painful. Thank you in advance for your time.

I suspect this is an autoimmune issue

even the red dots, the same ... or a sign of some type of autoimmune issue if it is more than just a skin rash

I think the chemical exposure that would cause this is a chemical that causes autoimmune issues, cancers, blood and kidney damage ... an assortment of symptoms such as CFIDS, CFS, FM

You can be exposed second hand

If someone nearby was breathing it out in their respiration - the chemical molecules can get into your eyes and be an exposure for you.

Often exposure looks like the flu, or ongoing congestion, flatulence, diarrhea
