First, do you have friends you would want to stay with who live in Valdez?

This allows other sponsored housing to go to those who have to stay in hotels, dorms or BnBs

2- What is your estimated time of arrival on the first day??

If after 9pm, and you are scheduled to stay at a Bed 'n Breakfast, best to stay in one of the sponsoring hotels on the first night.  They are set up to take 'middle of the night' check-ins with no disturbance to other guests or staff.  BnBs on the other hand have courtesy hours of 1 - 9 pm for check in, and you should speak with your host at least a day in advance or call the day of arrival, so they know what your arrival time is going to be.

There is a Theatre Conference Shuttle available for flight arrivals or ferry arrivals.

3- Do you need a smoking room or a non-smoking room.  Most BnBs require outside only smoking, as guests expecting non-smoking lodging would be offended if there had been smoking in their room.  (Many have allergies, or are in general sensitive to smoke)

This young woman treated our guests at Blessing House BnB with some of her favorite fiddle music.  She says French Canadian music is her favorite.  She drove the Alcan Highway from Northern California in a pick-up with shell ... and packed two violins for the trip.  Something told me she could play the violin

THEATRE CONFERENCE PLAYS SELECTED

The 2009 Theatre Conference play has been selected for this year's Ten-Minute Play Slam. It will be present at 10:30am on Saturday, June 20th. Local Mollie Ramos' Finding Our Way, script has been selected. Valdez actors will include, Gianna Giusti, Meg McKinney, Dawson Moore, and Jay Stevens.
