Fatigue - Do those in 'studies' have blood in urine?

I think that those of all studies for cancer & any for CFS, FM, ME, CFIDS should find out whether or not there is blood in urine.

That is one of the primary clues (for serious 'fatigue') that the harm of 2-butoxyethanol is the root cause.

That is one of the main things they checked for the workers ('bioremediation workers') of the Exxon Valdez Oil spill cleanup

Exxon knew that they were bringing in a 'cleanup product' similar to 'Spray 'n Wash' that had 2-butoxyethanol in it. They knew the research said this chemical causes premature destruction of the red blood cells (AIHA or IMHA)

Since research shows it affects almost every body system and affects blood and blood forming organs, and tumors here there 'n everywhere ...

All studies should look for blood in urine ...

Per medical dictionary, the signs of hemolytic anemia are:

Chills
Fatigue
Pale color
Shortness of breath

I suspect this chemical for an often found side effect, diabetes (one of the components of autoimmune metabolic syndrome which also includes bad cholesterol, bad triglicerides)

I think the reason they pin so much on diabetes is that it is easily findable, whereas the root cause, is not

Suggestion regarding reoccurrence of GBM

Hello,

I don't know if writing this email to this group is correct or not but right now I am looking for a window to vent out something which is been troubling me from a long time.

My dad is diagnosed with GBM and after 2 years of status quo the beast has started to reoccur .. all through this 2 years my dad was on TMZ and has stopped it for a period of 6 months and now his Oncologist has advised to start TEMODOR again and we had 2 cycles since the reoccurrence is detected. Planning to go for MRI after the 3^rd dose ( in a week's time) . Hopefully god willing if the tumor remains constant we will be extremely happy.

The most challenging part right now is that we are loosing the person whom we know and who loved us, slowly and very very slowly. Once a caring and loving father has become a completely different person whom we have never seen. The person we know is dying slowly and very very slowly. I pray that god will give him strength to fight the disease and will give us strength to see this transition. Please some one please who ever it is please please get some cure to this beast please …there are so many sons like me silently weeping and praying. I hope and pray that such day comes ASAP. Can all the countries sit at one place and work together for some time together and get a cure for this. Someone please do this .. So many Ashwar 's like me need that.

After all this my questions are:

1. I know personality changes are common in this disease but what is the good way to stop this other than our love and care which in my case if not able to solve the problem. Can we consult a psychiatrist? If we consult a psychiatrist what is the mode of treatment he will prescribe and can we use his medicines in parallel to the current TEMODOR and NS prescribed medicines.

2. We are using TEMODOR, RUTA6 and his NS has ruled out a second surgery now do we have any other alternative to go for.

3. I have been reading about AVASTIN a lot on this group.. Is this drug used in INDIA? Can someone please tell me about this in more detail?

4. If someone in INDIA is reading this email and if they have been to NIMHANS Bangalore or TATA INSTITUTE of cancer in Mumbai regarding a GBM please let me know I have some question for them in specific to the facilities and doctors.

In particular if the odd symptoms such as you mention, in particular the personality change, are from the autoimmune, tumor causing chemical exposure: 2-butoxyethanol or aka ethylene glycol monobutyl ether .... BUTYL being the worst component .... then stopping the exposure may be the best help for your dad

Yes he is having fever and has lost a great bit of weight and become very weak. Do you see them as normal side effects associated with TEMODOR or some thing to do with the tumor as a whole?

I think you should insist that they check more in the red blood cells and the liver

He may have the fatigue of autoimmune hemolytic anemia that evades medical science

This anemia may cause more harm than the tumor

Liver issues, just as the red blood cells issue,

of 2-butoxyethanol exposure . . . doesn't show up the way doctors expect it to.
