Bextra isn't that good at pain control - Featured 12/2010 American Greed

On American Greed program end of December, 2010 Pfizer was looking for a money maker to fill their diminishing coffers ... and looked to this not so great pain reliever which was found to cause stroke and heart attack early on ... and wasn't that good at helping with pain, either (more than interested in research; they were interested in MARKETING to doctors who would prescribe for their patients). They advised salesmen to infer to doctors that the product would be helpful for off-label uses and that if a little helped, more was better (suggesting doctors could prescribe more for their patients). After a lawsuit, Pfiser had to pay the largest penalty in history... larger than that for ENRON: 2.5 billion, but it only amounted to 3 days of profit for the company. And just more label warnings required by FDA? I think the FDA SHOULD BE RECALLED
