Dear Stan Stephens:
Mary Helen told me Thursday that you are meeting on the Governor's committee to discuss how to deal with global warming. I think it is BUTYL that is the most harmful for global warming and also for many health issues. * * * *
A chemist told me last year that BUTYL in the above 2-butoxyethanol formulation is 4 carbons. Please share this idea with the Committee. Sincerely,
M. Diann Hursh, Box 233, Valdez, AK 99686 907-835-3135 margaret.realhelp@gmail.com |

EPA lifted restrictions on how much Ethylene Glycol Monobutyl Ether could be released into the air after lobbying by the Chemical Companies. One of the worst exposures is getting the vapors in one's eyes. How to tell the difference between the harm of BENZENE and the harm of 2-butoxyethanol *
You can help, Congress * |

EGBE no longer has to be disclosed
since end of 2003
Would need to have an older MSDS

Mela-leuca Tub 'n Tile ... but the company refuses to tell me.
Based on how it cleans and on how I react to it, I suspect
2-butoxyethanol is one of the ingredients)
