There is a chemical exposure that would cause locked bowel or 'the grip' and it will do the same thing in people. I notice it being the next thing that happens to my husband when he gets too much exposure to 2-butoxyethanol. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/lockedbowel/?yguid=185347650

In 2003 EPA was lobbied by 8 chemical companies (Kodak, Dow, etc) to lift all restriction on how much can be released into the air. Since then there has been a rapid acceleration of global warming. When it breaks down in breaks down into CO2 (Found on an MSDS info sheet)
