Baby has a slightly rough skin on his back - Could this be sandpaper skin? an autoimmune issue?
Yesterday morning the kids came gleefully running out of their bedroom looking for an expected baby sitter ... only to find grandma

It was about 8:15 am

I was resting on the couch, and asked them to come over & rest with me

Baby age two years ... took me up on the offer.

I was stroking his back ... & seemed to find a roughness to his skin on one side

Didn't think too much about it,
except that it seemed odd, because skin usually feels smooth and soft,
especially children's

Then just now, I came across a web page I wrote a few years back:

Sandpaper Skin
*  Something along the lines of calcium deposits in the pores of the skin that keeps the skin from breathing. Autoimmune?

Anyway, might be something you might check out at least for your own self

Be sure baby boy has regular normal bowel movements,
as it might not be eating too much cheese,
but locked bowel or 'the grip'
(Digestion stops ... a serious issue)

Cold to the Core
if you notice 'the chills' ... rapid heart beat ... shortness of breath
Consider the anemia that Butyl causes

& avoid any cleaning products with an EPA registration number,
avoid beauty parlors
avoid fresh paint
avoid carpet cleaning

Will help mom get closer to her 'due date' ... March 12, 2009

Each child was born prematurely (5 weeks and 4 weeks)

Dad served in the US Army:  Panama Conflict, the Somalia Conflict, the first gulf war (paratrooper) - many honors

Baby already had a reaction to this chemical in Baby Wipes ... Some baby wipes are better than others
