was only three years older than me, and I feel that I am
at risk as are most children of parents who served in
WWII & the many types of manufacturing then (for
developing 'late to show up birth defects' of autoimmune
issues ... diabetes ... cancers)
October 11, 2008 there was a TV program on Presidents' health,
also talking about McCain's and Obama's health.
I had wondered what type of cancer his mother had ...
& the program said his grandfather had prostate cancer,
and his mother had died of ovarian and uterine cancer/s.
I found the following in a
Chicago Tribune article on Obama's
mother:

Stanley A. Dunham married Madelyn Payne in early 1940
When World War II came, Stanley enlisted in the Army.

production plant in Wichita. And Stanley Ann Dunham was
born in late November 1942.
I strongly suspect that the exposures to
BUTYL

paternal grandmother prior to his mother's conception
... and similar exposure for his grandfather in WWII
service would be the cause of the prostate cancer and
also the teratogen effects of BUTYL upon their daughter
prior to her conception

boomers' that are my age and younger who are at risk for
late to show up 'birth defects;
and getting more exposure to 2-butoxyethanol is very,
very risky.
I think Congress should ban
2-butoxyethanol if they want
to help the Nation's Health. Now these glycol
ethers (of which EGBE is the one in use half the time)
should be disclosed in all products, most especially in
our home cleaning products.
