hello, thank you for writing me back. correct link was:  http://www.valdezlink.com/gwv/symptoms.htm#daughter  I was really interested in all you wrote. first of all thank you for getting back to me, you are a Godsend, my brother has started the meds. he takes them twice a week, no side effects yet, i have never heard of what you were talking about but as looking through what you sent and visiting the web sites have made my eyes come open, but couldn't that cook have been exposed to tb?  I know you have to have a tb tine test to work in places like that but still couldn't you come in contact?  still my brother has shared the information with the doctor they say he has the germ and has to take those meds. for nine mos.  He is not too happy about that but you know how that goes, he is not contagious he is around all the people. yes my brother has painted in his life several years matter of fact and my brother's personality can change on you in a second, especially if he has drunk some beer, but i noticed through the years if he don't have a beer, he is real depressed and quiet, but if he gets a beer or two he changes on you just like that.  For the last 3 years he has been doing a lot of outdoor work cutting grass and all.  Are you saying my brother may not have tb germ even though he had a positive reaction to it?  is that your phone number too where i can contact you and talk with you? if it is, thank you so much. i would love to talk with you more on this matter. i am really interested.  all i know it measured a 13, and it means he has the tb germ, he was exposed to someone recently.  my brother is always fighting and getting in trouble that way and going to jail, all he does is fight.  every time he has been confined they have done a tb tine test and it has always come back negative even the one they did on him when he was locked up last year, this was the first.  thank you so much for your advice I learned a lot today from you and it has helped. hope to hear back from you.
I don't know anything about TB

However, I do know a lot about the harmful component of most latex paints & many cleanup products ... and I do suspect your brother has been poisoned by 2-butoxyethanol or one of its 'versions'  This chemical has been harming our country & other nations most likely too, since it was invented.  Being quiet ... being depressed, with the 'turn on you in a second personality changes ... that would be part of the pattern.  I believe he would do well not to drink, because this type of 'self medicating' adds to one's harm:  ethanol is one of the components of 2-butoxyethanol ... and it is in beer, in Joy, in Dawn.  Compared to other things it's not so bad, but added to the chemical load one has already, it is a very bad idea.

I do think your brother has help in he were to take glyconutrients.  It seems to help one's immune system work as it should & stop attacking the central nervous system, the joints, the red blood cells.  They are finding amazing results in the trials I've heard about:  diabetes, lupus, cerebral palsy & one starting up in scleroderma.  Study Contact  for SCLERODERMA PILOT STUDY

I suspect that some people's chronic overweight is not their fault.  I suspect that your brother's fighting with others may not be his fault, as much as the court thinks.  Ask them to see if he has blood in urine, and if his red blood cells are small sized and predominately immature. (The 'retic rate may or may not say something; but just the blood counts? ... not enough)  I don't know what meds they give someone for TB, but if someone is chemically poisoned, the best advice they can have is to diminish all other chemical exposures.  He might worsen his condition when he drinks, with some medications ... I don't know.  Surely the benefits have to outweigh the risks; and with TB, he would need to follow the doctors' orders.

Now, I don't have any medical background.  I am just saying that I recognize 'the pattern of harm of 2-butoxyethanol.'  The research on this chemical is done.  This is the best I've found - a doctor can go to the original site and get more specific input.  Any doctor that becomes interested in this chemical and learns a little about it ... will make the world a better place.  One doctor recently said he was fascinated by what I was sharing & asked for suggestions on what products to be careful with.  This is my reply and some other thoughts:

to approach it from what someone thinks an exposure would be... would be very difficult, as there are many more exposures than we could easily identify, and then someone could just be around someone else who is breathing out the vapors ... and get exposed.  One lady said, all I did was go to the dentist's office ... and then she listed the 'gulf war syndrome' symptoms. (Or you could go to the barber shop, the chiropractor's office, or the tax office in 1989-1990 in Valdez, Alaska - Lots of 2nd hand solvent exposure here in those days.)

I believe CFS, FM or actually CFIDS to be what this 2-butoxyethanol causes. valdezlink.com/cfid_share.htm

This lady describes what a reaction to exposure looks like: Daughter:

"Yes, I remember all to well when my eyes started burning like there was hot pokers in them. It coincided with a VERY nasty stomach bug...vomiting, the runs...it was miserable. The day I got sick I had been rolling around in a very nasty store cleaning up the mess. (box account in Sugar Land, TX) That night I was so sick...took me 2 days to get the energy up to drag myself to the doctor's office & threw up all over it for him to tell me I had the flu."

Her mother shared with me last year that the military hospital had no idea what was wrong with her and that her kidneys were failing.  At 33 years, she was expected to die.

Maybe ask people to describe whether or not they had a lasting fatigue after any of these:  circle ones that apply: valdezlink.com/pages/howcomplain.htm

Maybe some questionaire along these lines:
Do you have several of these health ailments:
  • A Give you doctor the Big Picture
  • B Any of these health concerns?
  • C Similar list, just restated
  • D  Suspected  'pattern of harm'
  • E
For singular health issues you might have to see if a parent had these symptoms ... and then you would not have the fatigue per se ... but a singular item, more like a late to show up birth defect.

I'll think on this.

You can check for blood in urine
Size, shape of red blood cells & age
Over active immune system ...

Let your patient explain his/her own symptoms to you.

Ask about headaches

Ask about the 'loosing temper quickly'

2-Butoxyethanol causes acute hemolytic anemia in rats

In F344 male rats, 2-butoxyethanol causes severe acute hemolytic anemia resulting in significant increase in the concentration of free plasma hemoglobin. Secondary to the hemolytic effects, 2-butoxyethanol also caused hemoglobinuria as well as histopathologic changes in the liver and kidney.

*Notes to Physician: Administration of Sodium bicarbonate may be of value to treat acidosis.

Monitor kidney and liver function and arterial blood gases closely.

Will Martha Stewart Stay Healthy in the Pen?

www.simplegreen.com/pdfs/04_gsa_msds_simple_green_&_pad.pdf

The reason I ask is that if she has to clean ... she will have to use Simple Green, most likely. Note that unless Simple Green is diluted 30 times ... like a 2 oz capful in a half gallon of water, she could be at health risk for 2-butoxyethanol over exposure. Which, from what I'm learning is like getting Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, CFIDS, or the 'gulf war syndrome' for civilians

Doesn't it say that US Prisoners are required by their Prison to use Simple Green as the cleaner of choice? ... so who knows?

I've gotten feedback from a couple of people who seem to have had a bad experience

So is full strength use as also non-toxic and safe for health?
For sure they should warn against misting it!

Paint companies have had some disclosure problems? I looked into it (when a year ago I was surprised by bold warnings that paint contained ethylene glycol and it caused kidney problems.) I asked the company I whose paint I was checking (as my husband had a bad reaction June, 2003 & then there were no ingredients disclosed) ... I asked them which ethylene glycol? Their, reply, "We are not telling you!"

This man had a bad experience www.valdezlink.com/sg_audrey.htm

Said a hospital chaplain, "I've used Simple Green for years; but I've noticed in the last couple of years that I have eyes watering and respiratory concerns"

Dee and Randy... could they have been harmed by Simple Green?

Let's check the prison population who do a lot of cleaning with Simple Green! Only check them for the RIGHT things www.valdezlink.com/psa.htm

Besides NO ENERGY and continual ANGER outbursts ... what else does ethylene glycol monobutyl ether do?

I'm concerned for our military and National Leaders, too
