Are Vets any more harmed than the General Population?

CFS- Chronic fatigue syndrome
FM-- Fybromyalgia
GWI/GWS Gulf War Illness/ Gulf War Syndrome

Actually the correct term is CFIDS
Chronic Fatigue Immune Dysfunction Syndrome
of which CFS & FM are sub sets (not realizing the immune system is autoimmune ...
or emphasizing the pain of muscles/joints

Same has been true for all our Nation since 1930's
& not recognized by doctors of Pres FDR, nor VP Cheney

What has happened for military, is more exposure to 2-butoxyethanol,
which speeds up the effects ... but same thing happening in civilian populations

USA has been hoodwinked

Same chemical for Vietnam vets - NOT dioxin

Many things are autoimmune

Look for the CFIDS assortment of symptoms

2-butoxyethanol overexposure LOOKS LIKE the FLU

The fatigue is the provable harm, but hard to find.

How to Tell whether 2-butoxyethanol type chemical harmed you

I think this is the cause of Chronic Fatigue Immune Dysfunction Syndrome

Late to show up 'birth defects'

Check for 'Retic rate' elevated when someone comes in 2.5 days after 'the flu' starts

Doctors are taking a serious look at glyconutrient food supplements for help - and so am I

The Exxon Valdez oil spill workers ... can prove the harm of this chemical

As to diabetes ... I still contend that it is secondary to 2- butoxyethanol exposure in some form or multiple forms ... and that it is the 2-butoxyethanol that causes wounds not to heal, kidneys to fail, eyesight loss ... etc ... etc

Did you know there is an autoimmune aspect to type 2 diabetes also?

Insulin-resistant diabetes *

In diabetes mellitus, autoantibodies are formed against insulin receptors. Insulin receptor  * source

I still contend  *

A silent disease?  ... just takes awhile for the latter effects to kick in.  Current medical philosophy of treating symptoms of blood sugar levels, for instance, won't change the root issue.  That's what I think.  Time will tell.

You can get diabetes in ONE DAY with too much exposure ... or 50 years after birth from a parent poisoned prior to your conception.  Or second hand if the soldiers hung out at your place when you were a baby ...

or mom used 'Spot Shot carpet cleaner' (mists 2-butoxyethanol at 25% strength)

Check of all hormonal levels, not just blood sugar ... is equally important; what is the pineal gland doing? *

The pineal gland produces and secretes the hormone melatonin.  Melatonin regulates the body's internal physiologic clock.

Glucocorticoid hormones? *

"Glucocorticoid hormones are involved in how the body utilizes and stores carbohydrates, protein, fat and blood sugar."  How are your hormones?  High or low?

Do they also have these symptoms

*Click on photo for enlarged diagram showing the pituitary, hypothalamus, thalamus, cerebrum, cerebellum, and brain stem. "Called the master gland, the pituitary secretes hormones that control the activity of other endocrine glands and regulate various biological processes. Its secretions include growth hormone (which stimulates cellular activity in bone, cartilage, and other structural tissue); thyroid stimulating hormone (which causes the thyroid to release metabolism-regulating hormones); antidiuretic hormone (which causes the kidney to excrete less water in the urine); and prolactin (which stimulates milk production and breast development in females). The pituitary gland is influenced both neurally and hormonally by the hypothalamus."    Fair Use

The Kidney, for example, contains scattered cells that secrete erythropoietin, a hormone essential for production of red blood cells. (kidney cancer?)  The kidney-more info

Check out all your hormonal levels

Also - what is going on with your immune system?

and check of kidney & liver function regularly.  Do blood chemistry manually - not by computer

.
Did you know that the LIVER also regulates blood sugar? The liver gets rid of toxins, regulates blood sugar .. Because your liver fulfils so many vital functions, you would die within 24 hours if it stopped working. A common sign of a damaged liver is jaundice, a yellowness of your eyes and skin. This happens when bilirubin, a yellow breakdown product of your red blood cells, builds up in your blood.
.
What glands/organs secrete hormones?  The primary glands that make up the human endocrine system are the hypothalamus, pituitary, thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, pineal body, and reproductive glands—the ovary and testis

The pancreas, an organ often associated with the digestive system, is also considered part of the endocrine system. In addition, some nonendocrine organs are known to actively secrete hormones. These include the brain, heart, lungs, kidneys, liver, thymus, skin, and placenta

"I'm convinced that metabolic features (changes in cholesterol and lipid profile, changes in glucose uptake and cell use, mitochondrial diseases and so on) are among main underestimated issue of 2-BE," says a French journalist

A friend has similar headaches - short term memory loss  - plus ovarian cyst, Crohn's - colon mass *
