I have been diabetic since I was 25. I guess I am still
in a little bit of denial but I am not all that well controlled.
USUALLY, symptoms of diabetes is that you're always thirsty, tired, mood
swings, chronic yeast infections, blurred vision, etc.
If you know anyone diabetic try using their meter 1 hour after eating or
first thing in the morning. Anything over 150 after eating is too high.
Go to your doctor!!! They have a test called Hemoglobin A1C that can
tell what your sugars have been running over a 3 month period.
I am great at giving advice when it comes to diabetes...just not
following my own advice. Right now I am battling a broken foot that
won't heal because of the diabetes. I think I am now starting see that I
should have taken this more seriously.
Diabetes runs in my family as well, I was the first to get it in
mine...my dad was just diagnosed last year because he went into diabetic
shock in his truck 900 miles from home...scary!!!

thanks everyone! i might sound like a hypochondriac but
i'm concerned about my 13 year old daughter. she has the same
symptoms as i do and oh my goodness she is ALWAYS thirsty! she
gets up every single night at like 1:00 or 2:00 and guzzles a
whole can of pop. i keep telling her to drink water, and she
does if we have the bottled water in the house. so i think we
should both see a doctor. yesterday she got sick all of a
sudden, she said she felt weak and shaky. she had to lie down.
within like half an hour it was gone. so, i told her we need
to both go in and get checked. thanks again for all the
replies.

| no symptoms
Well, my type 2 diabetes started about
5 years ago, best I can tell. The doc I was seeing periodically ...
about every other year, didn't take the basic blood info ... just
singular hormone to see if I was in menopause (dah, I had had no periods
for a couple of years)
So really I don't know when it started.
But I have no symptoms. (However, in my case, I suspect it is a singular
late-to-show up birth defect from my dad's WWII exposure to bomb fumes)
When you go to the doctor ask to test for what's going on with your red
blood cells since you mention these other symptoms that may be a mild
'chronic fatigue syndrome' Are you tired, irritable? Check for any
flu-like symptoms as it can be an exposure to a chemical I suspect for
causing most diabetes & CFIDS. And
look for blood in urine & everything that is going on with
hormones/glands
If you're dealing with what I'm concerned about, you can't just go to
the doctor & get answers. The EGBE chemical has been fooling the
medical profession for 7 decades if not longer.

Water and Bones don't Heal?
Just a couple more thoughts:
Water ... this is the way you need to drink your water: 2
glasses guzzled when you first get up. Two glasses when you
brush your teeth. Two glasses at 10AM; 2 glasses at 4 pm
and don't drink water before going to bed or you will be getting
up at night & loosing the best rest. Don't drink water a lot
at meals because it dilutes your digestive juices (Soda? skip
it; or try to limit it to no more than one a day)
You must have good nutrition & learn about glyconutrients.
They are a help to anyone dealing with autoimmune issues, and
that's about 28% of the population per research of the govt
Again, I suspect diabetes is not the primary or root cause of
harm. It is a side effect of what a very common chemical
exposure can do. I harp on this in recent years since I learned
about it. It is 2-butoxyethanol
that should be suspect for causing such and which causes bones
to not heal and kidneys to fail & liver, etc.

High
bad cholesterol is another thing that this autoimmune
causing chemical can do
