| Is the pattern of 2-butoxyethanol harm here? How
would I interpret these facts, with that question in mind?
I've asked him,
is there blood in urine? Are red blood cells
small-sized? If so, doctor could do test for autoimmune hemolytic
anemia that this chemical is said to cause
- Or check
these things

hello
everyone..my name is kathy in ky and I just joined this
site...last week I was diagnosed with melanoma as I go
every so often to have moles and skin checked as I am very
" moley " as my hubbie says...the last time I
went was back in 2003 and I guess I should have gone
before now but kept putting it off..MISTAKE...now the mole
that was taken off is melanoma, early stage..I go this
thurs for an excisional and the doc, who I have seen for
many yrs, says he will take a ' hunk ' out of my
back..fill me up with stitches and then sew the rest of me
up...I have had numerous surgeries...several 'female'
surgeries over time, my thyroid removed,
hysterectomy, breat mass removed and 3 yrs ago, had my
neck operated on as there was not enough room for the
nerves so they opened up the spine to make room, if that
makes sense...all of these surgeries I was asleep so that
was good..but this one thur will be different..I will be
awake...NERVOUS !!!! I am also very worried of the
outcome too..alot of bone (not muscle) pain, esp in the
spine next to the area of the melanoma and the lymph nodes
in the neck are puffy and the collarbone hurts...does that
make sense..bones actually hurt...sometimes the shin bones
hurt even when just the bed covers touch them, so I am
very worried about the outcome of this surgery on thurs..
I got on the web group and
scanned a bit and found this site and thought it looked
pretty good place to be, SO HERE I AM !!!!

Hello,
Kathy from ky ... WELCOME
I
notice that many of the things you mention look like the
pattern of what 2-butoxythanol exposures would do.
Do you also have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome? If so,
when did those symptoms start? and did they start up
after a serious flu ... eyes hurting, urine turned dark,
and FATIGUE?
Ask
if you can concentrate on good nutrition &
glyconutrient food supplements. Learn
here
and
here.
If you check all the links you will know best of what I
found & it is not just one company ... about 4
sources.
Don't
worry. Much of what we worry about never happens.
Sounds like you are in good hands.

I
was diagnosed with LUPUS about 28 1/2 yrs ago while preg.
with my son...and I also have fibromyalgia too...so I know
the fatigue being overwhelming is alot of that too...but
never had the extreme bone pain before.... Kathy in ky

I
suspect the fatigue (if cause from 2-butoxyethanol) would
be acquired compensated autoimmune hemolytic anemia.
I suspect the severe bone pain is the advance stages of
this fatigue (I have no medical background - I just
studied this chemical & recognize its pattern) Avoid

Can
this fatigue lead to paralysis?
Fatigue - Prostate Cancer - Paralysis
definition:
extramedullary hematopoiesis:
red blood cell production outside
the vertebrae. Red blood cells are
derived from the stem cells in the
bone marrow throughout the body.
When individuals become severely
anemic, there is not enough space in
the ctive bone marrow to produce
hemoglobin, and the body begins to
make blood outside the bone marrow:
in the spleen, liver, and sometimes
outside the vertebrae, which can
compress the spinal cord, leading to
paralysis
I heard of paralysis happening to a
painter (who died this past 2003 as
a young man about 44). He was being
seen for prostate cancer, and
he had pain in his back & bones,
but didn't get a diagnosis for that.
Then he became paralyzed ... due to?
His family (after his death) said
that he had all of the symptoms of
this chemical exposure,
2-butoxyethanol - (& of course
he was exposed to the chemical) but
he didn't get an accurate diagnosis
- they didn't know what was
happening with his bones. Since
there is a red blood cell anemia, I
was wondering if the above
definition was part of what is
happening to these .... (either from
very extreme, serious exposure to
too much of the chemical even in a
brief exposure, or in many mini
exposures over a long period of
time)?

his family:
"The
correct diagnosis was that
his red blood cell where
reproducing outside of the
spine causing spinal cord
compression.. Once this
happens you have a 72
hour slide period to have
surgery to release the
compression or a bone
marrow transplant. Maurice
missed this 72 hour period
by two weeks. Because
other oncologist did not
do his job well. Maurice
was in Little co. of Mary
Hospital and this doctor
came in the room and
pressed his hand on his
back and said no pain no
cancer on back. I
responded how could he
feel pain he is on
morphine. The Dr. rudely
turned to me and said he
has a few small cancer
spots in his tummy and
walked away"

The chemical that affects painters
& many
others is 2-butoxyethanol
(a pesticide, solvent, poison). The
first thing people notice who are
affected by it is all-the-time fatigue
(red blood cell damage) that no rest
helps - No energy; then depression all
the time, personality changes to very
grouchy, 'grumpy' - Extreme
Irritability, Loose temper easily, Short
term memory loss, Difficulty
concentrating, Suicidal Tendencies,
(many assorted central nervous
system diagnosis) ... endocrine
disruption to pituitary? to
thyroid? to blood pressure? to blood
sugar? to reproductive organs? to
adrenal glands? This chemical, also
known as ethylene glycol monobuytl
ether, is known to cause hemolytic
anemia, but I have wondered why it is
so hard to find. The red blood cell
counts come in borderline normal.
Then I realized that it takes
awhile for the blood system to get so
bad that it shows up. The retic ratio
should indicate if there aren't enough
mature red blood cells, shouldn't it?
definition:
One definition of Hemolytic anemia: At
the end of their normal life span
(about 120 days), RBCs are removed
by components of the mononuclear
phagocyte system, principally in the
spleen, where Hb catabolism takes
place. The essential feature of
hemolysis is a shortened RBC life
span; hemolytic anemia
results when bone marrow production
can no longer compensate for the
shortened RBC survival.
These
are symptoms of hemolytic anemia
- Chills
- Fatigue
- Pale color
- Shortness of breath
- Rapid heart rate
- Yellow skin color (jaundice)
- Dark urine (indicative of
blood in urine - never dismiss
this! Stop exposure
immediately!)
- Enlarged spleen

Audrey's
Husband had bouts of paralysis, too

that eight essential sugars, known as saccharides, are the basis
of cellular intelligence and communication.
The ability of cells
to communicate and work together is necessary to keep us healthy

Late onset
diabetes, high bad
cholesterol and autoimmune metabolic issues may be helped by
glyconutrients and good nutrition
... which I suspect these in many
cases are birth
defects from a parent's WWII exposures to a chemical such as
2-butoxyethanol in the bomb fumes, jet fuel, cleaning
compounds - Also in much of what was used in manufacturing
