My health is deteriorating and I want to concentrate on some
things that I am doing so that I can have fun.
My doctor has told me that I need to focus on myself or he will
not be my doctor anymore. I need to take care of myself, he is
afraid if something happens to me he will be held responsible. He
is correct I have very powerful friends all around me who love and
care for me because of the unconditional acceptance I have for
people.
anyway. The millions I have worked on getting for my community
to help build housing for the homeless specifically veterans, the
1.2 billion dollar redevelopment plan I helped put together for
all of my neighbors, moving and expanding and helping a 17 million
dollar capital improvement plan for a homeless shelter , of which
we had the ground breaking last month.
I think it is time I enjoyed what time I have left, I am not
well.
I still use the Oxygen and the seizures are getting worse and
now with the diabetes, I really need to begin to take care of
myself.
I loved the Corps and I will do anything for my fellow vets,
regardless of whether I feel they are worthy or others feel they
arew worthy of help. From the Steak lunch on veterans' day for the
homeless veterans of skid row I helped put together, to the
creation of housing for vets. I think I have done my best and have
no regrets.
It is time to concentrate on me.
Best wishes to all.
