EVOS 'bioremediation" workers & US Coast Guard who monitored the experiment ...

& Gulf war Vets were both exposed to 2-butoxyethanol

If this is the primary chemical to suspect for cause of 'gulf war syndrome' these groups should look alike

Since gulf war vets are no more harmed than the general population (except for ALS), you are looking for an exposure to something that the general population is equally at risk for.  Please consider 2-butoxyethanol or BUTYL

You will ALWAYS hear vets with 'the syndrome' talk about how tired they are

a fallacy in medical thinking is that high white blood cell counts indicate an infection or lymphoma

In this population (those with CFIDS, CFS, FM) it is an ANEMIA sign

Look Alike?

Do WWII Vets, Vietnam Vets, Korean Vets, Gulf war vets and civilians with CFIDS look alike?  Do they look like the Exxon Valdez oil spill 'bioremediation' workers?  Do they look like our soldiers who fight in wars today?

I think you need a 'spread sheet' on what was going on with the gulf war vets who have died

I also explained what 'second hand solvent exposure' was

Second Hand Solvent Exposure *  * * * * *

Second Hand Solvent Exposure Examples - Summary

Sarah Palin asked, "Is there proof that EVOS workers were health damaged?" *

Time was limited to approx 7 minutes

                          & 6 others   (a Gulf war Vet; Britt Small, a Vietnam Vet, Denise S - Nurse & 3 others)

RE:  the ACGWV meeting time.

Interested parties may also listen in by teleconferencing into the

meeting. The toll-free teleconference line will be open from 8:30 a.m.

until 12 noon on September 24 and from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

on September 25. To register for the teleconference, contact Lelia

Jackson at (202) 461-5758 or

Lelia.jackson@....

Its called the VANTS phone system and to call in to the meeting,

please dial 1-800-767-1750 and when prompted to put in your code,

please enter the 5 digit entry code and you should be able to listen

to the whole meeting. You'll get the code from Lelia. It will be in

a mode that wont let you speak, but you can log in and out all

day. So if you disconnect its easy to get back in.

This meeting is expected to run long both days so don't be surprised

if scheduled event times get moved around. Just remain flexible.

Day one is VHA and day 2 is VBA. Veteran health and the benefits.

We should be seeing our first hard numbers of where our issue

is at. Part of Day 1 is closed door session so don't get upset if you

cant listen in to that part.

Get involved and follow this closely. As in 15 months it will be up

to this committee to make recommendations that will effect our

program for years to come.

See you there.

                                                            Sincerely

I have no medical background.  Not being a physician I can not diagnose or treat health problems.  Mention of a company or a product does not constitute endorsement

I do recognize a chemical exposure (2-butoxyethanol or BUTYL) that 'looks like' the flu and which research says causes hemolytic anemia plus lots of other things
